Rotated screen doesn't have rotated touch gestures

When I rotate the screen on this Lenovo X230T using the button on the LCD, the touch input gestures do not rotate as well. For example, if I rotate 90 degrees a horizontal two finger drag does a vertical scroll.

I have the same problem with Thinkpad X201t

stylus and eraser work, but touch not

Hmm seems to be a kernel bug
