Bug Description
In ubuntu 7.10 desktop, network ctl. panel, hosts section, the ctl.panel removes duplicate hostnames that I map to the same IP address. For example when I add:
127.0.0.1 alpha
127.0.0.1 beta
It removes the former entry and keeps only the latest one.
My workaround is to edit the hosts file in /etc/ manually.
