Bug Description

The manpage of `aide` suggests that `aide --init` is working after installation, but it fails with `/var/lib/aide/please-dont-call-aide-without-parameters/aide.db.new`. One has to use `aideinit` which isn't mentioned or linked in the manpage.

This still happens on 20.04.

Update:
Looks like this intended behaviour after reading https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FileIntegrityAIDE#AIDE_with_the_aide-common_package

To init aide, you have to use aideinit and configuration files listed. The instructions on the page still say auide --init.

To post a comment you must log in.
