Hi Sandro

I added that PPA to my list of sources but when I reload in Synaptic I get this message:

The repository 'https://launchpad.net/~sandromani/+archive/ubuntu/gimagereader/+packages xenial Release' does not have a Release file.Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.Failed to fetch https://launchpad.net/~sandromani/+archive/ubuntu/gimagereader/+packages/dists/xenial/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not FoundFailed to fetch https://launchpad.net/~sandromani/+archive/ubuntu/gimagereader/+packages/dists/xenial/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not FoundSome index files failed to download. Thanks for your help so far, Jaz

Hi again

I figured out what I was doing wrong with installing the PPA. With the latest version installed it now works again.

This bug was fixed in the package gimagereader - 3.1.91-1

---------------
gimagereader (3.1.91-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * new upstream version (closes: LP: #1579707):
    - remove all patches as they are merged upstream
  * add debian/patches/01-catch-segfaults-tesseract.patch:
    - catch deliberate segfaults created by tesseract
  * update debian/copyright
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.8 (no changes necessary)
