New here. I am not sure if I should file a new report as it concerns Ubuntu 9.04. I had a similar problem with Ubuntu 8.10.

Installed 9.04, the problem is still there. What I find is that if the card is inserted then Ubuntu freezes, and doesn't install. After installation, it hangs in the boot process. If I insert it after booting, the system hangs.

I am trying it on a Dell inspiron 4150 laptop. At this point it is a bit hard to provide any details because the system freezes when I insert the card.

I can try to gather the details that are pertinent in several stages between the freeze if the experts let me know what information they need.

Your Ubuntu version is EOL. Does this still happen under a supported Ubuntu version? Thank you!
