Bug Description
Nootka version shipped with Ubuntu (1.2.0) is a bit obsolete and not fully compatible with Qt 5.6 (it compiles but some of functionality is broken).
Please, update it to the latest version (1.2.5). It has fix for that issue.
BTW, thank You a lot for packaging it for Ubuntu.
With respects
Nootka dev

Hello Nootka developers, your application looks amazing, and your site on sourceforge mentions KDE, but I don't find your source code on KDE git. Are you part of the KDE community? If not, there in an incubator to get you onto the KDE infra and into community support.
It looks like your project would fit right into KDE-Edu [https:/ /edu.kde. org/]. It would be lovely if you visited the incubator page at https:/ /community. kde.org/ Incubator and checked it out. We are very interested in providing software on all platforms as you are doing.
The Kubuntu developers would like to package and upload Nootka, but our packageset only covers KDE software. I'm not sure we can download and package sources from Sourceforge.
If you are not interested in affiliating with KDE, I guess your best bet would be to get your package sponsored by a Debian Developer which would allow it into the Ubuntu universe archive.
All the best,
Valorie, from the Kubuntu team
