Bug Description

Once the distribution is started for the very first time, if you launch konqueror as root (i.e.: using 'kdesu konqueror') instead of launch as normal user ('konqueror'), then your konqueror configuration file (~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/konqueror.rc) and all the saved profiles (~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/profiles) will be saved with root privileges.
This means that in all subsequent konqueror sessions launched as normal user you will NOT be able to save both configuration and profiles. Furthermore, Navigation Bar links will be lost.

Suggested workaround: when using your distribution for the first time, DON'T launch konqueror as root for your very first time.

Thank you
Carlo
