Bug Description
Hi,
after installing hdapsd and hdapsd-utils (and of course loading the hdapsd-module via `modprobe hdaps'), it's not possible to start the hdaps-Daemon.
The following error-msg ist given:
* Not starting hdapsd: /sys/block/
dmesg-output:
[ 7711.712000] hdaps: IBM ThinkPad R52 detected.
[ 7711.712000] hdaps: initial latch check good (0x01).
[ 7712.532000] hdaps: device successfully initialized.
[ 7712.532000] input: hdaps as /class/
[ 7712.532000] hdaps: driver successfully loaded.
/etc/default/hdapsd -DISK is set correctly, I'm using SATA on my system. So, there should be a bug somewhere within the kernel-module or with the hdapsd, I guess.
Regards, owl
