Firefox crash unexpectedly while using gtalk inside gmail

While using gtalk inside gmail, and especially when switching tabs using alt-tab, firefox closes unexpectedly

This behavior is very inconsistent. It doesn't happen at all times. When switching tabs using alt-tab, while using gtalk inside gmail, firefox crashes. Sometimes this crash happens very frequently (say 10-15 times per hour) and sometimes the crash doesn't happen for longer periods.
This crash has been observed to be very similar to bug 111342

Yes is very similar, I'll mark this bug as duplicate of bug 111342.
