Bug Description

When using visual effects enabled gnome-applets still notifies over full screen apps, like blender or games (with blinking rectangles).

I can see the nm-applet and the clock notification (each minute). Hiding the the applet bar the problem doesn't occur.

When disabling the visual effects this problem disappears.

It happened with my old notebook. Maybe its a video driver issue. It was a
Intel 900 GMA.

Thanks,

Felipe.

Have you been able to test the notebook with Intrepid? There have been significant changes to Compiz since you reported the bug with Gutsy, so the problem may no longer exist.
