"Import Component" in Part Library Editor throws an assertion

I'm getting an assertion every time I click on the "Import Component" of the Part Library Editor.

To reproduce the problem open the Part Library Editor and click the icon for "Import Component". A dialog box will appear with an assertion. I clicked "Backtrace" then clicked the "Save to file" to save the text of the assertion and the backtrace. I have attached the file to this report.

If you click the Stop button all running parts of Kicad completely close (not just the library editor).
If you click the Continue button the program continues to work and it is possible to successfully complete the import of a component from another library.

I am running Linux Mint 17.2 64-bit with a version of Kicad that I compiled from the https://github.com/KiCad/kicad-source-mirror.git git repository. "About Kicad" reports version 2016-03-01 BZR 6606, Git 59f6a72, debug build, wxWidgets 3.0.2 Unicode, and Boost 1.54.0. Platform is shown as Linux 3.16.0-38-generic x86_64, 64-bit.

I suspect this is the same assertion as bug report 1558486. Please test product branch r6675 to see if it resolves this issue.

Sorry. My report seemed to be a duplicate one.

Current status for version BZR 6687: No assertion, instead a browsing menu is opened. Fix confirmed. Thank you.
