Bug Description
I have google account setup with gnome online accounts. After updating telepathy-mission control from 1:5.16.3-1ubuntu4 to 1:5.16.3-1ubuntu5 empathy stopped recognizing this account. Another account (icq) that was setup directly in empathy works fine.

Thank you for your bug report, indeed the multiarch tweaks changed the plugins location which makes it not find those installes from other binaries
The changelog has that comment
"# We specifically do not want multiarch: only one version of MC can be experimental ships a plugin in the non-multiarch location \$${prefix} /lib"
# installed anyway, the plugin directory is based on the ${libdir}, and
# empathy/
CONFIGURE_FLAGS += --libdir=
Matthias, are you sure we want to go against the specific decision of the debian maintainer there?
