qtiplot not in GNOME menu

Binary package hint: qtiplot

I would like to see qtiplot in the menu. It's probably an upstream issue, as it doesn't appear in the debian menu either.

I also made modified an icon for this as a sample from the logo found on their website, but I don't know if this good to use or not.

The package itself provides an icon and a .desktop file, the problem is that the icon is corrupted.

qtiplot (0.9-3ubuntu1) hardy; urgency=low

    - updated Maintainer field
  * debian/qtiplot.desktop:
    - removed deprecated Encoding field
    - fixed Icon field
    - updated Comment field to be HIG compliant
  * provided a working icon (LP: #153992)
