Bug Description
The description field can help operators track data about connectivity information, eg,
"top left port in server seattle-03-99-12 is cabled into switchport GigE-0/0/12 of switch 92, and should be in an LACP group with the bottom right port of that server, which is cabled into switchport GigE-0/0/12 of switch 93"

To be honest, I don't see much value in names for ports and chassis (especially the latter, as they're not particularly useful), but we can discuss it (as this an API addition, I think a spec is required).
