Bug Description

This NMU from one year ago do the exact change that was done in ubuntu, so the delta can be dropped.

Not sure if we should rather look at removing vtk.

That's right, Debian included Ubuntu changes. However, as mentioned in comment #1, Debian bug 730904 should be fixed. Otherwise it fails to build. Did you try to build that package?

I did try, and it failed. The idea behind the sync was to just drop the
delta, so that subsequent uploads in debian would be auto-synced without
further action; and hopefully built.
