Open Shot's Overall Performance is Terrible

Is there a way to extend the length of the tracks without downgrading the quality of the video? Right now the tracks are way too short for me, about 20 minutes long each. I do Internet talk radio shows with unlimited video time per video on YouTube. When I had Windows with Cyber View Media Show each uploaded video show was about 1 1/2 hours each. Out of principle I did not want to spend the money on Windows 10, so im here, trying to learn. Also the audio of my rendered videos now are at a very high speed.

the lenght of tracks are automatically extended but a bug with a dependencie affect the visual representation of this one i.e you can't see all the track if it is a long track.
Hovewer you can zoo out to avoid this situation after it is not very funny but you can zoom in the new section that you want.

Is such a zoom button in one of the drop down menu’s at the top?
