Bug Description

The soundcard worked fine after the installation but didn't since I've rebooted.
I've not changed anything.

it, I'm closing the bug.

Possibly we should try to avoid having a webcam become the primary ALSA device,
but i'm not sure that this is possible in a straightforward way without treating
all USB audio devices equally.

Agreed. Contemporary ALSA modem and TV card drivers refrain from
grabbing index 0; the same solution needs to be applied to USB
webcam drivers.
