Bug Description
I ran into this accidentally while testing stuff. I don't know if it's affecting anything, failsafe X seems to work normally.
I intentionally broke the mouse driver entry in xorg.conf. Failsafe X came up and I started the failsafe GDM. Then without logging in or chaning anything I rebooted. After reboot, failsafe X dialog didn't appear anymore but instead the old xorg/gdm blue terminal dialog saying X could not be started and If I wanted to look at the server output.
I chose yes and got the following message:
/etc/gdm/
Warning: Failsafe mode was already attempted within 30 seconds.
Warning: Falling back to gdm to report the issue.
I assume the last 2 lines are ok and do appear by design. But the first line looks line there is somewhere a bug/typo in the script.
