Status defaults in advanced search page are misleading

Bug Description
The advanced bug search page defaults to none of the importance or status checkboxes being checked. Checking one or more of each will search for just bugs with those attributes. Leaving all importance options unchecked returns everything. That is sort of understandable.
However, the default (ie. everything unchecked) status search doesn't return closed bugs. This isn't documented anywhere, and is confusing, particularly with the different behaviour of importance searches.
