Asus UX303LB: Brightness keys Fn+F5 and Fn+F6 don't generate evdev event

It seems brightness keys don't work with Ubuntu 15.04 for laptop Asus Zenbook UX303LB. Also acpi_listen does not detect fn+f5 and fn+f6

The problem was not fixed after BIOS update.

Also, the touchpad only worked by installing

Nuno, to advise, you don't need to apport-collect further unless specifically asked to do so.

Despite this, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D (the release names are irrelevant for testing, and please do not test the daily folder)? Install instructions are available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds . This will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.

If the latest kernel did not allow you to test to the issue (ex. you couldn't boot into the OS) please make a comment in your report about this, and continue to test the next most recent kernel version until you can test to the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. acpi_osi= -> neither works, fn+f5/fn+f6 or applet

this didn't work: /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/80-backlight.conf

I already switched to ubuntu 16.04, tested with kernels 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6 and still not working.
