Hi,
anyone still having this issue? If so, which version of ubuntu and pidgin are you using now?

Please also attach a fresh backtrace by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace.
Also explain what happens and what should happen and steps to reproduce.

Thanks in advance

Hi again,

I expected that all attachements were included in my last comment. I did not know how to include them here, so I created a new bug (I know it is duplicated to this one), but at least you have more details about the issue. The new bug I created is:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/391187

Hoping this will help.

Jordi
