Could not restore a remote desktop window when running "Normal visual effects"

Bug Description

Could not restore a remote desktop window when running "Normal visual effects" by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Enter. The only way to bring back your desktop is to goto a terminal window and kill rdesktop process.

Here is my system specs:

Dell Latitude D620, 2.33 Ghz Core Duo, 4 GB RAM, nVidia Quadro NVS 110M, Gutsy Gibbon AMD 64bit (up to date as of Oct 4, 10:18 AM EST)

When I wrote the original bug it was incosistent. Now, I can reproduce this issue all the time.

I can reproduce this issue also.
With the Visual Effects setting set to None the problem is none existent.
