The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding cups-filters. This problem was most recently seen with version 1.0.73-1, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/7058ce5d1cb3dd221126c99df59418910b6e24b3 contains more details.

Added a nULL check to fix this problem and committed it to the upstream code to be included in cups-filter 1.0.74 which will get released soon and also included in Wily.

Synced the cups-filters 1.0.74 from Debian, it will appear in Wily as soon as the beta1 freeze is over (beta1 being released) on Thursday afternoon UTC.

      on non-Linux platforms (Bug #1308)
