Import Sim card contacts

Hi. When I want to import my contacts from Sim card, the phone works during long time (5 minutes or more) and never find any result, just show me messages like "no contacts found" or "error reading sim card" and try again and again while my contacts are presents in the card (found with an old Nokia phone).

I have a SIM card from an older (Symbian) Nokia 112 and I get "error reading sim card" when trying to import to Contacts

This could be bug #1486004 which will be in the next update

Seems to have been fixed in OTA-7...? Today, when I tried to import from SIM again, it still gave me the "Error reading SIM card" message first. THEN I went back to Contacts. and chose the import again - and this time it happened! So... there is still SOMETHING wrong with it...

Yesterday Contacts app could read my SIM, at last, and importing worked.
Later I tried again, just to see if it works consistently, but it couldn't
read my SIM again :(

which device and image are you using?

could you try this command:

List contacts from sim 1:
/usr/share/ofono/scripts/test-phonebook /ril_0

List contacts from sim 2:
/usr/share/ofono/scripts/test-phonebook /ril_1

How many contacts do you have on your sim?

I am using a Meizu MX4, with OTA-7 (it was about 82 MB, maybe that helps
with its identification). I have about 30-40 contacts on my SIM.

I will try to run those commands after I finish work today, but I have one
SIM only.
