Bug Description

To recreate the bug:
- open a new inkscape window
- draw a rectangle
- click on the rectangle. In the notification area, it says "Rectangle ..." (no problem here)
- import a PNG (I chose "embed", don't know if this influences the bug)
- select Path > Trace Bitmap
- Check "live preview" in the "trace bitmap" window
- do not click OK, just close the "trace bitmap" window
- click on the rectangle. Observed behavior: in the notification region, it says "Select image to trace". Expected behavior: the mention "Rectangle..." in the notification region.

Inkscape 0.91 on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

See attached screenshot: rectangle is selected, notification area (incorrectly) says "Select image to trace".

Reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 r13725 and 0.91+devel r14202 on OS X 10.7.5.

Based on tests with archived builds:
- not reproduced with rev <= 11714 (no live preview),
- reproduced with rev >= 11717;
this seems to be a bug in the original implementation of the new live preview feature (bug #1058470), committed in rev 11716:

Confirmed on Windows XP, Inkscape trunk rev. 14202.
The problem here is that the dialog is not destroyed when closed, but hidden with live preview active.
