Bug Description
Binary package hint: mplayer
Mplayer uses xmga instead of xv as standard output which results in the error message "Error opening/intializing the selected video_out (-vo) device. Video output works fine again if I change video output to xv.
Btw. I have no sound with Mplayer. If I play a file I got the error "Could not open/intialize audio device -> no sound.". Alsa is the default output but it doesn't work. If I change it to Oss it works fine so maybe Mplayer uses the wrong Alsa device. Totem and Vlc haven't this problem with Alsa.
