Please try to install a newer RedNotebook version and provide the file ~/.rednotebook/rednotebook.log if startup still fails.

Still not working...

This is what shows up in the terminal:

Is this the complete terminal output? The falsh/pepper error you see
looks very strange, this should not be invoked by RedNotebook (it is
only used by chromium-based browsers, as far as I know). Maybe your
system is not configured properly.

I'm able to open rednotebook again, only after I remove the package
freshplayerplugin, which is a wrapper based pepper flash plugin for firefox.

This is really a weird problem, maybe rednotebook do use some flash parts
in its mechanism that only adobe flash can make it work properly.

I still thinks this is weird... Flash shouldn't inflict with rednotebook...
