Bug Description

Openshot fails to start with my Arch 64 bit install (Linux 4.0.4-2) with minimal system level customization. Openshot and its dependencies were installed from the official repositories. Openshot version is 1.4.3, MLT version is 0.9.6-7, FFmpeg version is 1:2.6.3-2 (all versions are in accordance with the official repositories and without modification).

Terminal outputs the following error message:

------------------------- ERROR 1 ------------------------------
Failed to import 'from openshot import main'
Error Message: cannot import name main
----------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------
   OpenShot (version 1.4.3)

Process no longer exists: 1249. Creating new pid lock file.
mlt_repository_init: failed to dlopen /usr/lib/mlt/libmltvidstab.so
(libvidstab.so.0.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
mlt_repository_init: failed to dlopen /usr/lib/mlt/libmltsox.so
(libsox.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
mlt_repository_init: failed to dlopen /usr/lib/mlt/libmltsdl.so

mlt_repository_init: failed to dlopen /usr/lib/mlt/libmltqt.so
(libQt5Xml.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

Jouralctl outputs the following:

May 28 22:34:04 sys systemd-coredump[5192]: Process 5184 (openshot) of user 1000
-- Subject: Process 5184 (openshot) dumped core
-- Defined-By: systemd
-- Support: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/systemd-devel
-- Documentation: man:core(5)
--
-- Process 5184 (openshot) crashed and dumped core.
--
-- This usually indicates a programming error in the crashing program and
-- should be reported to its vendor as a bug.

The same thing has happened on another Arch clean install. I already tried 1) reinstalling openshot, mlt and ffmpeg, 2) deleting ~/.openshot and running the program to no avail. The files described in the log exist in the reported location. I also tried to run the debug.py script, but it didn't seem to play nice with Arch.

This could be an Arch-specific issue as there was a similar bug reported for kdenlive. See: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/45189

It is rather an MLT problem like this video framework is use by the both
projects. Try to update it if you can.
