Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz-kde

All I have to do to trigger this bug is to set the default WM in Kubuntu Gutsy to Compiz by putting a shell script in ~/.kde/env with this in it:

#!/bin/bash
export KDEWM="/usr/bin/compiz"

and logging into KDE.

I will attach my backtraces.

Confirming this on gutsy. Also easily reproducable with compiz --replace (use kwin --replace to get your window decorations back).

Changed in compiz:

Confirming. Just upgraded to gutsy and installed vanilla compiz with kde components.

I have this problem as well... it also looks like a dupe of Bug #129801 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/129801)
