Bug Description
Inkscape 0.91 r13725 x64 (MSI)
Windows 7 SP1 x64
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start with a fresh profile. (this isn't really necessary, as I can duplicate it with my normal profile, but as a safety net)
2. Open a premade file with anything that uses a fill or stroke (or draw something new).
3. Now, click on either the 'fill' or 'stroke' colors in the bottom left of Inkscape.
4. Now, when the 'Fill and Stroke' window shows up, it should be on the 'flat color RBG' part. (this is if your running a new profile, could load on one of the others if using your default profile)
5. Select the 'Wheel' option for selecting a flat color.
6. Close the 'Fill and Stroke' tab.
7. Repeat Step #3 clicking on same option (if you clicked on Fill, click on it again. Same with the Stroke color).
What happens:
There are now white boxes behind all of the 'flat color' options (see attachment).
What should happen:
There shouldn't be any white boxes behind the text, just like when you opened the window the first time with Step #3.
Workaround:
1. Just hover your mouse over each option to make the white box disappear.
or
2. Never leave the 'Fill and Stroke' window on the 'wheel' option when you close it.
=====
This bug seems to only happen with the 'Wheel' option. I tried all the others and couldn't get it to trigger with them.
Anyways, don't recall seeing this happening in the 0.48.x branch. However, if need be, could try it later with the zip copy of 0.48.5 to see if it happens with it too.
Not reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 using Gtk+ 2.24.27 (tested backends: X11, Quartz) and Adwaita GTK2 theme (from gnome-themes- standard 3.16.2) on OS X 10.7.5.
