Hi,

The Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T-500 dual tuner DVB-T PCI TV card is gaining popularity and linux support is close to 100%.

The remote support is there, with key codes and all.

it uses the dev/input driver.

I will attach the lircd.conf file.

I have another remote which can use the dev/input driver - I'm not sure if we handle dev/input remotes differently. If you're gonna do another lirc upload, can you give mwe an ETA so I can get the lircd.conf for my remote done?

All RCs which use /dev/input also need an extra udev rule to deal with the fact that the event number can change between boots. A method for dealing with this is given at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=183545&highlight=nova .
