Bug Description
Description: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
Release: 14.04
The ideapad-Laptop module just breaks the wifi on my Lenovo G50-30 (Realtek network card: rtl8723be). The only way to get wifi working is by blacklisting ideapad_laptop.
As far as i know the bug affected other models too (https:/
PS: i tested the live version of Ubuntu 15.04, same results: wifi still not working due to the ideapad_laptop module.

A friend suggested me to follow this instructions. It worked: iseborn. eu/downloads/ ubuntu_ yoga_2_ wifi/Makefile iseborn. eu/downloads/ ubuntu_ yoga_2_ wifi/ideapad- laptop. c DMI_PRODUCT_ VERSION, "Lenovo Yoga 2"), DMI_PRODUCT_ VERSION, "Lenovo G50-30"),
1- download http://
2- download http://
4- open ideapad-laptop.c and change this line
DMI_MATCH(
in
DMI_MATCH(
3- go with a terminal where you downloaded the files and type "make" and then "make install"
note: remove any previously workaround you did before (like the blacklisting one).
So is there a way to include a patch for this models too?
