Bug Description

According to Update Manager, ISC DHCP Client and "Common files used by all the isc-dhcp* packages" are part of the FreeCAD package, which I get from the FreeCAD Daily PPA:

  $ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/freecad-maintainers-freecad-daily-trusty.list
  deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/freecad-maintainers/freecad-daily/ubuntu trusty main
  # deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/freecad-maintainers/freecad-daily/ubuntu trusty main

If I simulate a freecad upgrade with apt-get, there's no mention of ISC DHCP. As far as I can tell, ISC DHCP does not have anything to do with FreeCAD, as it shouldn't, so this appears to be a bug in Update Manager.

I've attached a screenshot showing what this looks like in Update Manager.

Marking confirmed based on your screenshot, there seems to be something wrong here. (And also also seen similar issues myself in the past.)

I found some other bugs which are also related to grouping of updates, see bug 1237277 and bug 1214218 for details. In both cases, the "parent" package originates from a PPA, but I don't know if this is the underlying reason or not, so I don't feel comfortable marking this as a duplicate. Might be worth investigating, though.
