Bug Description

Openshot crashes when a project is opened with a video file that has been relocated. I would really like if it gave me an option to instead refer to its new location or name.

Archlinux 64-bit, installed from package.
Openshot 1.4.3

Error message from terminal upon crash:
state saved
on_frmMain_key_press_event
on_mnuOpenProject_activate called with self.GtkImageMenuItem
[producer_xml] failed to load producer "/home/x/video/Video/xyz.mp4"
[producer_xml] failed to load producer "/home/x/video/Video/green.png"
[producer_xml] failed to load producer "/home/x/video/Video/black.svg"
project state modified
state saved
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I removed a lot of repeated attempts (identical lines) to load the producers.

summary: - Archlinux: Openshot crashes when a project is opened with a video file
- that has been relocated. I would really like if it gave me an option to
- instead refer to its new location or name. Furthermore it also seemed to
- crash earlier when I don't have dmix enabled in alsa and some other
- program has access to the soundcard, instead of just playing back the
- video without sound.

Download full text (3.3 KiB)

Normal, if the file has been relocated.
