Unresolvable problem upgrading from 14.04.2 to 14.10 due to cheese

Upgrading from 14.04.2 to 14.10 using upgrade-manager failed with unresolvable error.

$ sudo apt-get purge cheese

and then attempting again got me further

Confirmed that after removing cheese, I was able to successfully upgrade to
14.10 without further issue.
