Bug Description

I created the attached document using Inkscape 0.91 x64 on my Windows 7 x64

When I open the document evince (my prefered pdf viewer) crashes after opening.
Adobe pdf is fine.

I attach svg and pdf for reference.

Adib.

Proposing to close as 'Invalid' for project 'Inkscape'. This looks more like a bug in evince (on Windows, or in evince 2.30.0), or in one of the dependent libraries used with that evince build on Windows (cairo, poppler), or the specific combination of the versions (old evince (2.30.0 - 29-Mar-2010), old popper (0.18 - Feb 15, 2012), cairo version bundled with evince MSI installer [1] unknown).

The PDF test case attached e.g. to

opens ok on OS X with evince 2.30.3 and 3.14.1.

Evince bug reports for component 'win32':

I didn't search the poppler and cairo bug trackers for related reports.

Closing - no further feedback by the reporter; likely an upstream bug in older versions of dependencies bundled with Evince 2.32 for Win32.

Feel free to reopen if there is stronger indication that Inkscape's cairo-based PDF export creates invalid PDF files (and that this does not reproduce e.g. with PDFs created from the same SVG source with rsvg-convert from librsvg or with svg2pdf (both also cairo-based converters for SVG->PDF)).
