Bug Description
I've installed tribe 5 on my Macbook (c2d), and I'm noticing some strange behavior with the touchpad and the mouse button:
1. When viewing windows with long scroll bars, I sometimes have trouble clicking in the scroll bar to move up-down. For example, most of the time, when I click once in the scroll bar area, the window will scroll one page, just like it's supposed to. However, sometimes the window will keep scrolling, as if I still have my button pressed. When this happens, though, I can move the cursor using my touchpad, and the scrolling stops.
2. Sometimes, when I press a UI button using the mouse button, nothing happens, as if I hadn't pressed the button at all. However, if I move the cursor using my touchpad, then the button gets "pressed"
It frustrating because I can't seem to find a behavior that causes this problem. It seems to be completely random.
xorg.conf to follow shortly. Please feel free to ask for additional information, if necessary.
Hi kry10,
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you with the most recent Hardy Heron 8.04 release? Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance.
