x session freezes when hovering mouse over a folder in Quick browser applet

When in Quick browser which starts with my home directory if I hover the mouse over a directory with TIFF files the whole xubuntu UI freezes, including the dock of course. Only mouse moves. I am able to switch to another terminal and restart session. The problem is 100% reproducible - it does not happen with other folders, just with the folder with TIFFs. If you need the sample TIFF files I can attach some :)

It seems this bug was not directly due to the Quick Browser applet but by the library used to open these TIFF files. Do you still have this bug?

Hello, sorry for not being able to confirm if it works now: I'm back to
windows where everything works fine.
