Bug Description

I run command `sudo apt-get update`, then `sudo apt-get upgrade`,
after it downloaded all package and unpacked them, then it step to install and configure,
but when it went to install and configure 'linux-image-3.13.0-37', it failed.

These errors has occur several times, all I known is that the error is relative to 'linux-image'.
Every time I run `sudo dpkg -i xxx.deb` or `sudo ap-get install xxx`, the error occur.

The terminal show these,

You may need to run the following:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then re-install the package.

If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as "Confirmed"

Changed in linux (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Medium

when I run `sudo apt-get install -f`, it failed.
The error is similiar to the privious.
May be it'a not a bug, but something wrong with my computer hardware and os
configuration.

I notice that the kernel's version it metioned and the one I am using is
different.

I use `uname -a`, it shows version 3.13.0-36
```
Linux xechoz-K54HR *3.13.0-36*-generic #63-Ubuntu SMP Wed Sep 3 21:30:07
UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
```

But this ‘bug’ shows a different version kernel, 3.13.0-37.64

```
xechoz@xechoz-K54HR:~$ sudo apt-get install -f
