Gabriel Zhi Chen, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please answer the following questions:
+ If you switch to UEFI mode in BIOS, does this change anything?
+ Does the latest release of Ubuntu demonstrate this problem via http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ ?

Verified with 14.10 Utopic LiveUSB, boot in UEFI mode, it works.
But in Legacy mode, it failed to boot with the following error message:
"Missing parameter in configuration file. Keyword : path" [1]
which could be solved by entering "live" and boot to the live desktop.

We will try to certify this system with 14.04.2

I think there is something wrong with Utopic image. I had the same problem on many other systems which doesn't suffer from 14.04.x images. This occurs on both Dell and HP systems.

@PHLin
It could be related to this known bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-creator/+bug/1325801

According to 14.10 release notes (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UtopicUnicorn/ReleaseNotes#Boot.2C_installation_and_post-install):

Due to changes in syslinux, it is not currently possible to use usb-creator from 14.04 and earlier releases to write USB images for 14.10; we believe that it is also not possible to use usb-creator from a 14.10 system to write USB images for earlier releases. For now the workaround is to use a matching release of Ubuntu to write the images, but we intend to issue updates soon to work around this incompatibility.
