Bug Description

After upgrade mplayer return signal 11 because of libavcodec.so.54. libavcodec54 is providing libavcodec.so.54.so.

I have attached full backtrace.

Vlc just running fine but no hardware acceleration, post processing option
is disable. I didn't test with avplay

I have similar problems. For me shotwell always crashes because libavcodec. Here is the backtrace:
