Bug Description
This is a very strange bug, but I can reliably reproduce it on Ubuntu 14.10 amd64 with latest updates.
Steps to reproduce:
* Log in into GNOME Flashback (Metacity) session.
* Open Libreoffice Calc.
* Click on the "Borders" item on the toolbar and select the first option.
After that, gnome-panel will be invisible. However, it is still there, and restarting Metacity makes it show again.
This does not happen when using Compiz.
See the screencast attached.
