Bug Description
using KDE with several virtual desktops. when there are several windows of the same application spread over several desktops, the title displayed when hovering over the application icon on the dock is of the window in another desktop, I have yet to notice a rule. If I will find one, I will post it later.

Hello and thank you for this bug report,
I'm not able to reproduce this bug: I just opened two gnome-terminal windows and launched `sleep` command (then the title is now "sleep 60" for the first one and "sleep 90" for the second one). Then I moved these windows in different viewports.
The dock have a subdock with two icons for my two gnome-terminal windows. The label of the subdock is "Terminal" (the default name that I can see when nothing is launched) and the other icons have a label with "sleep 60" and "sleep 90".
Do you have this bug with any apps and only when one of these windows is on another virtual desktop/viewport? Do you have a problem with the label of the subdock or with all icons linked to your application?
