Bug Description

The file selection dialog when opening a new torrent in qBittorrent 1.0.0beta5 isn't usable with big torrents.

When opening a torrent with over 150gb of data, 304 directories and 7500 files, selecting one and one file in the file selection dialog isn't really efficient.

I switched to ktorrent for that torrent, it's file selection dialog is brilliant (but it's cpu usage is not).

It's a simple tree view with a checkbox for each directory (you can also open directories and select specific files obviusly). This is very efficient.

Why don't you select the files, then right click and then choose their
priority? You don't need to do it one by one. Or maybe I didn't understand
well.

The list is not really easy to work with when there are over 7500 entries.

Ktorrent's approach of a simple treeview with folders included is far more efficient.

Ok. I'll have to check ktorrent out then because I have not tested it yet. If they can do it, I surely do too ;)

I just realized another thing, the rightclick menu in that selection only has the priorities normal/high/maximum. Not ignored. So right clicking when selecting multiple files does not work.

Anders, it has ignored action, unless you select ALL the files. Indeed, you
can't ignore all the files in a torrent. You the second person to tell me
this, I think I will always display the ignore action and just check if it
is correct on properties exit, just before saving.

This is what you get for writing software too clever ;), I just marked everything to test.

I'm working on it in new-file-selection branch. I hope I can get it done for beta7 (to be released this week end probably)

Ok. I' now merging it in trunk. It will need more testing but it looks like it is working.
