Custom background images numerous issues

Issue 1:
add an image from gallery
You immediately get an option to set or cancel, cancel does not add it to the set of images, set makes it the active background.
Also selecting an image gives you the option to set or cancel, and cancel removes it from the view rather than leaving it in place
In both cases cancel should leave the image in the view

issue 2:
long press on an image
a Remove option is presented
select remove
nothing happens

I disagree that "cancel should leave the image in the view". There's no point in adding an image that you aren't going to use straight away. The "Custom" list is more like "Recently Used" ... Hmmm, perhaps that would be a better label for it. And "Add an image..." would be better as "Other...", or maybe "Choose Another...".

Meanwhile, both issue 2 and bug 1365577 could be fixed by removing the menu altogether.

Since issue 2 has been reported separately, marking as Invalid for Issue 1, because it doesn't make sense to add an image to the list of recent images without actually using it.
