Bug Description

Binary package hint: pd-pdp

Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn, Ubuntu Studio packages installed, Pentium 4, 768 RAM

When I try to use pdp as installed by the package pd-pdp, I get the following error in the main puredata window:

PDP INIT ERROR: pd symbol clash adding symbol pdp: new=b75ee72c old=08264eb8 try loading pdp before other libraries

puredata version is 0.40-2

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?

I have the same problem under (k)ubuntu 8.10:

PDP INIT ERROR: pd symbol clash adding symbol pdp: new=b7c836cc old=08ac1408
try loading pdp before other libraries
 pdp
... couldn't create

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you still reproduce this issue in this or a newer release? Thanks in advance.

fixed in just 0.12.5-1 which i just uploaded to debian. there is still a warning, but it can be ignored.
