Bug Description

Regression: Image 201 displays untranslated System Settings.

Test case
- Switch the phone to Spanish, reboot.
- Go to System Settings.

Expected result
- System Settings is localized and UI appears in Spanish.

Actual result
- System Settings is displayed in English.

This worked fine in previous images. Neither ubuntu-system-settings package is shipping locale files, nor language-pack-touch-es package contains ubuntu-system-settings.mo

Tested with image 201 and ubuntu-system-settings 0.3+14.10.20140819.1-0ubuntu1.

Thanks, that's not a settings bug, we need a refresh of the touch language packs to ship those translations

Right, see https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg08566.html and today's followup (not on the web archive yet). This is still blocked by landing the other MPs (which is happening).

I now created a script to fetch translations from the touch trunks and update the langpacks with them (http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-langpack/langpack-o-matic/main/revision/487). That avoids having to wait for landing all the branches, Launchpad import, and the Launchpad translation export.

Updated touch langpacks updated, system-settings translations are back. With that we don't need to land my bunch of merge proposals in lockstep any more.
