Checking for updates text is hidden by header

Bug Description
Entering the updates entry in system settings opens a new page. In there there is an acitivtyindicator and some text like "checking for updates". However, that text is only visible for a very short period of time because it is hidden by the header scrolling down. The header should already be visible when entering the page and the activity indicator placed below the header instead of behind it.

Thanks, do you know if that's a toolkit issue? We don't do anything special with the header afaik, we just stack components in the page widget...
