indicator-messages is missing

Where did you go

Adding Pantheon to /etc/xdg/autostart/indicator-messages.desktop OnlyShowIn didn't help

Adding "Pantheon;" to OnlyShowIn works but you need to comment out the "AutostartCondition=GNOME3 unless-session gnome" line as @gvs did. And if you want the indicator to show up, you'll need to set up Geary/Thunderbird/etc or in my case Mailnag with the Unity plugin.

It's actually already fixed but the build fails until launchpad deploys their fixes of their regression. They said they'd do it sometime this week probably.
