Bug Description
Was trying to install ubuntu 14.04.1 It didn't work. I'm going to try installing again without downloading updates. Not 100% sure what caused the issue.

You tried to install the boot loader ( grub ) to the first disk ( /dev/sda ), but this disk contains Windows only and is partitioned using GPT. To install grub to a GPT partitioned disk in a bios booting PC like yours, it requires a 1 mb bios_grub partition on the disk. You will need to either create such a partition on that disk, or install grub to the other disk where you installed Ubuntu to, and change your bios boot order to boot from that drive.
